⚾ The Elevator Pitch:
Public goods are harmonious. The more they are shared and used, the more valuable they become. However, individuals have little incentive to contribute to public goods since they'll benefit whether they chip in or not. Furthermore, contributions to public goods through existing channels just mean bureaucratic waste, with no transparency, and no ownership over the results. 1/3 of all donations go to bureaucratic bloat today.
Artizen is changing that. Donations are no longer checks mailed into the void. Instead, they are investments in the world. They do this with efficient funding, transparent voting, & open ownership. Filing grants is super simple and takes minutes, not months. Once submitted, they enforce the spirit of the platform with grantmaker panelists who deter popularity contests. Finally, donors are rewarded with NFTs indicating their ownership in the results of a public good project.
